This chain of play houses is great for children from crawling right the way up to 10 years old.

Wacky warehouse is situated in a pub, but has a separate entrance and a buzzer operated by staff within, so the children are secure in the play area.

There are three areas to play all suited to different age ranges.

A small area for the under 2’s, with soft blocks to climb over, large balls to roll around, soft ride ons and some animals faces which go into a large puzzle on the wall.

A toddler area for under 5’s, where there is a ball pool, soft climbing stairs, which separate three areas and are used as an assault course to climb to get to the slide which ends up back in the ball pool you started in.

The over 5’s area is more extensive, an assault course of rope bridges, climbing blocks, ball swings, ball pool and a bright red twisty slide, which seems to be a favourite.

During term time ‘tot club’ is between 9:30-3pm at a bargain price of £2 per child or if you pay £3, you get unlimited juice and even unlimited tea for mum! Outside of tot time the usual price is £3.50, but free for babies under 12 months old.

In wacky warehouse there are toilets (the changing table is situated in the disabled toilet just out of the main door) and a microwave to heat baby food and milk. Even free WIFI for those of us who like to stay connected.

Before entering there are rules of play that have to be read and a signature is needed. These rules are nothing out of the ordinary for play houses and are there for the safety of the children. Such as … socks should be worn at all times, no children over to age of 12 or taller than 1.45 meters, no food or drink to be consumed in the play area.

A full kids menu is available to order and eat in the wacky warehouse, where they offer a full snack menu. This includes a selection of baguettes, sandwiches and filled jacket potatoes, from £3.29-£4.99. A full range of Costa coffee as well as some sweet options, chocolate bars, brownies, and cookies.

If you are looking for more than a light snack there is a full pub menu that can be ordered at the bar, if the children are playing in the wacky warehouse, you can reserve a table in the restaurant and they will call you through when your food is ready – see Game Keeper Article.

When visiting wacky warehouse make sure you look out for any offers they might have on such as, the ‘Kidz Summer Club’ where you get 5 plays for £10 and you will receive a booklet with offers on family days out such as Drayton Manor, Digger Land and many more. You can join the wacky email club so you receive these offers, information, any news and even a birthday treat for the children.

Wacky warehouse also offers party packages, if you fancy someone else providing entertainment, cooking the food and clearing up after, then this could be the place for you. Packages start from £7.50 per child and include 2 hours play, food, drink and a balloon and party bag when they leave.
