Precious Moments runs group classes and provides 1:1 sessions for baby massage, baby & children’s yoga covering age ranges from birth to 12 years. Precious Moments classes and sessions are delivered by Liz, mum of 2 and a highly experienced and professional instructor.

As well as Liz’s massage and yoga training and qualifications, parents get added benefits from Liz’s sessions as she also has years of experience as a children’s nurse and health visitor.

She left the NHS in April 2016 in order to grow Precious Moments but has over 20 yrs experience preceding her. Liz is committed to creating special memories and gives you a beautiful and unforgettable experience to share with your child in those precious early years that will benefit their development both physically and emotionally. Baby massage and baby yoga have countless benefits to babies and parents including relief from the symptoms of colic, wind, constipation, teething and other minor ailments. Babies who attend are generally calmer and have been reported to sleep better too.

The classes give parents an incredible experience as well as additional skills to calm, soothe and settle baby. The yoga is also a lovely way to “play” with baby too whilst providing incredible benefits. Classes are relaxed, fun, friendly, informative and inclusive of siblings and welcoming of other family members.

Liz is passionate about supporting and helping families in the early weeks/years and wants to make a difference in a positive way to the outcomes of babies and children. This is why Liz has now also launched yoga for children in local venues as well as schools. Teachers today are finding that children are struggling with the standard school routine as they are unable to sit for the periods of time required in a school day. Using stories, games and adventures to guide the children through the exercises, develops good posture and encourages physical strength. Children can also learn how to be calm and control their emotions, during the day in the class they learn relaxation techniques that can help with self reliance/soothing and avoid stress and anxiety.

These techniques will last them their lifetime. As a children’s nurse and health visitor Liz has seen the changes in children over the years and is confident Precious Moments classes will make a difference.

Liz also supports parents accessing baby weighing services and provides this in class and also works in partnership with Holly Tree Farm soft play and provides play and weigh services here once a month.

Liz was awarded a highly commended award, as voted for by parents, at the 2017 what’s on 4 kids awards. Booking now for February Classes…Lincoln Mums card holders receive 10% off their first term’s fees.
