Thursday 6 December 2018 – Saturday 5 January 2019
Jamie Marcus Productions in association with Lincoln Drill Hall presents:
It’s not long now until Lincoln Drill Hall starts whisking audiences off to Neverland for a swashbuckling festive adventure – one packed to the crow’s nest with pirates, fairies, Lost Boys and one tick-tocking crocodile. And tickets are selling FAST so don’t miss out!

PETER PAN has all you could want from a panto – a huge cast of crazy characters, stunning costumes and sets, hilarious jokes, sketches and song and dance routines and oodles of audience participation – oh yes there is! Plus, as it’s Peter Pan, you can expect breathtaking flying scenes and sensational special effects, with the action jumping right off the stage!

Back by popular demand is Lincoln’s favourite Dame James Campbell as the outrageous Nursey Night Night, while fresh from the hit West End production of ‘Mamma Mia’, Stephen John Davis is a truly dastardly Captain Hook.

And playing the feisty Tinker Bell is the deaf Australian actor Phillippa Russell. In J.M. Barrie’s original play, Tinker Bell can only be understood by people speak the language of fairies. In most versions, this is the sound of a tinkling bell, but for the Drill Hall panto the team found a way of making it even more magical.

Chris Kirkwood, Drill Hall CEO:
“By having Philippa use sign language on stage, some members of the audience will be able understand her too, making this a very special panto experience for them. The other characters will also use sign language to communicate with Tinker Bell, and the audience will have the chance to learn the language and join in. I’m so pleased that, with Philippa’s help, we’ll be able to let the audience play such an important part in the story and learn some British Sign Language at the same time.”

“Each year we work to add new and unique elements to our Panto to really surprise audiences and keep it fresh. And each year more and more people have come along to experience the magic. Last year’s 10th anniversary panto, Jack and the Beanstalk, which featured a half-size flying Red Arrow, smashed audience records, playing to almost 15,000 people. This year we’re hoping even more people will join us on this spectacular adventure!”
