Well, there has been lots going on “Down on the Farm” since the School Summer Holidays last year. The team at Rand Farm Park continue to invest time, money and effort into this popular visitor attraction to give their visitors of all ages and abilities a great value-for-money day out whatever the weather!

For anyone who enjoyed the Real Christmas Experience, they would have seen that the animals have moved into their new purpose-built animal barn which provided space for The Real Nativity Show, Elf Academy and The 3D Enchanted Forest all of which will form the basis for Christmas 2018 and I am told there will be a few more surprises added this year.

This area is now being transformed into the “Events Barn” where the next attraction will be “Lambing”.With baby lambs starting to arrive in time for half term.   Some of them will need to be bottle fed and this takes place daily at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm.  There will also be the new Lambathon Show and Sheep Craft Activities throughout the day between Saturday 10 February and Sunday 18 February 2018.

For those who have not visited recently, the old rabbit area has been transformed into a themed interactive Air Cannon Arena which provides hours of fun for everyone.  If you can reach the buttons, then you can play……….

After more than twenty years of loyal service, the trailer has been replaced with a new “all-weather” model which does mean a much more enjoyable ride for everyone – especially at this time of year.

Mothers Day and Easter will soon be here and there are more plans in the mind for themed events throughout the year.  So keep in touch with the Farm by liking them on Facebook to receive discounts and offers for future days out.
