If you’ve not visited Stourton Estates at Baumber you need these dates in your diary this year!  This venue has something for everyone with a varied programme of events throughout 2019.  The most popular attraction are the herds of red deer on the estate.  Deer safaris take place at most events on a tractor and trailer where you get up close & personal with the deer & Lincoln Mums members benefit from 10% discount on bookings!

1Sunday 19th MayWolds Walking Festival & Open Day

This year’s events begin on Sunday 19th May with the Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival Open Day.  A number of different walks, both guided and self-guided with a toddler ‘rock trail’ take place across the estate with deer safaris & refreshments available.


Saturday 1st June – Pop-Up Pub Night

A quirky new event for 2019 – the Water Tower has been converted into a Pop-Up Pub for the evening.  Local ales will be served and delicious Lincolnshire food with a pub quiz hosted by John Marshall.



Friday 14th – Sunday 16th June – Family Camping Weekend

If you have children who would like to experience camping for the first time or maybe you are family of seasoned campers this is one weekend not to miss!  Highlights include learning to do circus skills and Tony Butler’s Animal Encounters plus dance classes for Sunday morning!


Friday 9th – Sunday 11th August – JoeFest presents Beyond the Woods

14th September – Autumn Festival

A unique event where the season is celebrated with have a go activities, fabulous stalls, crafts, demonstrations, workshops, activities and locally produced food and drinks. With live music throughout the day, Elliott Morris is the headline act for the gig in the evening.  Camping is available for both the Friday and Saturday nights.

20th October – Pumpkin Sunday Funday

The arboretum turns several shades of orange with pumpkins and rich autumn colours plus Deer Rut Safaris and activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Friday 1st & Saturday 2nd November – Enchanted Woodland Light Show

This magical light show is a great (and quiet) alternative to a firework display so is perfect for children and dogs!  Walk around this spectacular show of lights before enjoying a hot-dog or hot chocolate around a fire-pit and soak up the enchanted atmosphere in the woodland.

Saturday 7th December – Christmas at Stourton Estates

Kick off the festive season with a deer safari, browse our selection of freshly cut Christmas trees, venison or simply enjoy a bite to eat in beautiful surroundings.


All our events are dog friendly so please feel free to bring your well-behaved dog with you.
