LPAC, University of Lincoln, Penguins Penguins Penguins, Christmas show, December 2018

Christmas comes to the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre (LPAC) as we present two family performances this winter season.

Lion, Witch, Wardrobe 2019 artwork

Come with us as we step through the wardrobe and enter the winter wonderland of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Join Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy on a magical adventure to a mysterious world, where it’s always winter but never Christmas! Older families who have been attending our Christmas shows for many years may remember our first production of this tale. This year our war horse-esque Aslan puppet returns, reimaged and reinvented to bring our themes of nature verses industry to life. Come watch the adventure this Christmas season as the children join together with Aslan, Mr and Mrs Beaver and the other woodland creatures to fight against the evil White Witch to bring Christmas back to Narnia!

Ready Steady, Yeti 2019 artwork

For our younger audiences Ready, Steady, Yeti! is a more traditional story telling performance. One winter two small children set out to solve the mystery of the abominable snowman, but they’re not the only ones on the trail and the race is on! A magical show for younger children packed full of songs, stories and silliness. Ready, Steady, Yeti! recreates the imagination and natural play of young children. Set inside a tent fort, the set pops out to create multiple locations that we explore together! Just like our previous shows Penguins! Penguins! Penguins! (2018) and The Winter Whale (2017), this production takes place inside our large upstairs studio which creates a more relaxed setting for little ones to enjoy the show.

Tickets for all these shows are available now. You can book your tickets online at www.lpac.co.uk, over the phone on, 01522 837600 or in person at the box office in Zing Café Bar within Lincoln Performing Arts Centre.
