Branston day nursery is a home from home, it provides children a warm caring environment.


The nursery is situated on the site of Branston Community Academy, it is a non-profit, self sufficient unit run by the governors of the academy.


The nursery take babies from 6 weeks through to 4years old, what ever the age there is an appropriate area to stimulate and educate.

There are separate rooms for age groups, a baby room, a toddler room and then the preschool. There are outside play areas and a garden within the academy grounds. Each child has a separate peg, where you can store nappies, spare clothes, wellies and sun hat and sun cream in the summer and a key worker so that there is familiarity during their visits.


Hot dinners can be provided that are cooked on site daily, there is also the option to send your child with a packed lunch. Snacks and drinks are provided throughout the day.


The children in the nursery have access to the joint academy/branch library and also access to the swimming pool (where children can have access to pre-booked lessons with swimming instructors).
When picking your child up at the end of their session your are met by your child’s key worker who will tell you about their day. All children have their own note book about what they have achieved and parents can write notes about things they do at home. Children under 2 are sent home with a form for each visit about what and how much has been eaten, as well as nappies and sleeps throughout the day.
