Are you struggling with a picky eater? Help is at hand.

Picky or fussy eating is a really common problem amongst young children and yet sometimes it’s hard to know where to turn for support.

War and Peas author, Jo Cormack is a Lincoln-based therapist and feeding consultant specialising in helping families prevent and solve picky eating.

Jo 37 (2)

Unlike most feeding professionals, Jo’s expertise is not in what you feed your child, but how. She understands that most parents have a good idea of what they would like their families to be eating but many feel at a loss when their little ones reject the food they have prepared.

Jo helps families and professionals understand the psychological, emotional and behavioural aspects of picky eating. Her powerful approach, EAF (short for Emotionally Aware Feeding) will give you the tools and techniques that you need to help you and your child enjoy mealtimes.

Could Jo help you?

  • Are mealtimes stressful?
  • Is “yuk!!!” the first thing your child says when they see their meal?
  • Does your child only eat a limited range of foods?
  • Do you find yourself feeling frustrated or anxious about your child’s eating?
  • Would you like your child to enjoy a more varied diet?

If any of these apply to you, the help Jo can offer could make a huge difference to your day-to-day life. Enabling your child to have a positive relationship with food is a life-long gift and sometimes, this requires specialist support.
