This year we are again our rolling out our program of events to Boultham Park and the Arboretum with a travelling roadshow of activities and workshops for children throughout the half term in October.

We have many different activities on offer to suit all children whether they are crafty, outdoorsy or just plain thrill seekers, and the good news is it doesn’t have to cost you the earth and you don’t need to leave the city!

Just some of this autumn’s activities are detailed below

Toddler Time ( 15th November) A fun and exciting range of themed events for the under 5’s, which center around popular childrens books such as Room on a Broom

Stake out the fun and venture upstairs into the visitors centre to make a scary mask (Thursday 24th October pm at Hartsholme) in time for the spookiest day of the year!

Take a chance and, be prepared to be scared out of your skin on our creepy Halloween Trail  (Thursday 24th to Monday 28th October), which will lead you if you make it to a delicious and ghoulish treat!

Have a break from the kids for a couple of hours and take part in our Wreath making workshop (Friday 29th Nov at Boultham 10am to 12.30pm and Saturday Nov 30th 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm and 4pm at Hartsholme.
