Friday 6 December 2019 – Saturday 4 January 2020

Jamie Marcus Productions in association with Lincoln Drill Hall presents:

Following last year’s record-smashing Peter Pan, Lincoln Drill Hall is supersizing its 2019 panto to fill its new enlarged stage. Which means more fun, glitter, glamour, songs, choreography and special effects!

So polish your pumpkins, dust off your gowns, grab your glass slippers and head to the ball of the year for the ultimate rags-to-riches tale.

Poor Cinderella spends her days cleaning, and cooking for her rotten step-family. That is until one day the Prince decides to host an extravagant ball to find his princess. Little does Cinders know life is about to turn itself upside down and an exciting adventure awaits.

Will Cinders escape her daily chores? Can the Prince find his happy ever after? Will the Ugly Sisters ever stop their incessant whining and scheming?

As pantos go, Cinderella has it all – plucky heroine, wicked stepmother and devious stepsisters, one very magical fairy godmother, a handsome prince and a very silly Buttons. Plus, of course, a pumpkin coach, glass slippers and a sumptuous royal ball. And you’re all invited!

Chris Kirkwood, Lincoln Drill Hall Manager: “A traditional family pantomime, packed with songs, choreography and plenty of silliness, but combined with incredible special effects– that’s what the Drill Hall panto is all about. Remember our Dame flying a Red Arrow over the audience’s heads in 2017? I don’t think I’ll ever forget it! Well, this year look out for more flying action with a magical coach pulled by a flying unicorn!”

Special effects are fantastic of course, but the heart of the panto is the cast. This year Lincoln’s favourite Dame James Campbell is back as the outrageous stepsister Lady Domestos. Together with Ian Jervis’s Lady Parazone, the plan is to kill 99.9% of Cinderella’s fun. However, Cinders, played by Chloe Sparrowhawk can count on the support of the hilarious Adam Fox as Buttons and Emma Clare as the Fairy Godmother. Will Cinderella win the heart and hand of Jacob Yolland’s swoonsome Prince Charming? And can a pair of shoes really change your life? There’s only one way to find out. Come along and experience this massive production that’s guaranteed to fill you with festive cheer well into the New Year.

Don’t miss out – book today! With matinee and early evening performances, plus signed and relaxed/autism-friendly shows, this is a panto that everyone will love.
