Rugbytots is a world wide family which provides fun, structured play sessions for children aged from 2 to 7 years old. The activity programme focuses on fun and encouragement, while enhancing self-esteem and confidence. Our coaches deliver sessions with energy, enthusiasm and excitement, to create an atmosphere that is unique and engaging for children and parents alike, taking the children on a journey of sporting imagination whilst teaching them how to catch, pass, kick and run with the ball and play as part of a team. Our main objectives are for the children to have fun and grow in confidence during their time with us.

Our 2-3.5 years sessions are designed for children not only to learn new skills, but also to meet new friends and have an exciting introduction to rugby. We will also support learning about shapes, colours, numbers and counting. The classes also offer parents and children the opportunity to spend quality time together as it requires full parent participation. We keep to the same structure, but offer lots of different fun games allowing parents and children the opportunity to play together.

Our 3.5-5 years sessions are packed with fun activities that will develop your child’s social and physical skills in a positive environment. Your child will learn about finding space, looking after the ball, scoring tries and running with the ball in two hands, helping to  improve their general agility and balancing skills. Although not every session requires full parent participation, cheering and encouragement are essential!

Our 5-7 years sessions really starts to set the foundations for all aspects of your child’s sporting life after Rugbytots, from teaching basic rugby skills, to growing self esteem and confidence. We aim to gently introduce the rules of Tag Rugby to prepare your child perfectly for their next sporting adventure!

Rugbytots was founded in 2006 and since then it has become well established across the country and across the world. We are delighted to be bringing this formula for fun and learning to Lincolnshire. We are initially opening in Lincoln and then hoping to expand to Sleaford, Market Rasen and Grantham and considering more venues when there is demand.

Who am I?

My name is Charlotte, I am a Lincoln girl, who moved to Newcastle to go to University studying Childhood and Early Years. While I was there I discovered Rugbytots North East.  I became passionate about my coaching with Rugbytots, and fell in love with going to work as I enjoyed every moment,  from seeing the children’s confidence grow and building relationships to seeing the children’s skills develop, I loved it all.  After 4 years of working with Rugbytots North East, I thought there was a great opportunity to bring Rugbytots to Lincolnshire.
